Specializing in crafting immersive environments within Unreal Engine 5, this portfolio piece showcases a diverse array of skills from importing assets and customising models. Leveraging resources from sources like the Unreal Marketplace, Quixel Bridge's Mega Scans, and Kitbash models organized using Python in C4D, I brought to life visually stunning landscapes and structures such as Temple Mount, The Colossus, and Skull Mountain. These endeavours were pivotal in honing my skills during my time at One Bright Dot Ltd. where I played a significant role in high-profile productions.

My journey into Unreal Engine 5 and Houdini reached new heights with advanced training from Rebelway, empowering me to push creative boundaries and apply innovative techniques in these projects. Skull Mountain Exterior: As part of the VR ride's immersive experience, I crafted several fantasy-based environments, including the dramatic Skull Mountain. Initially conceived in C4D, Skull Mountain underwent extensive modifications in Unreal Engine 5 to enhance its visual impact. Bend deformers were employed to add a Mohican-like formation to the central skull, elevating its menacing presence. Mega scan assets were creatively adapted to form a striking backdrop, featuring a skeletal rib cage emerging from the sea. The landscape is further embellished with dying foliage trees, moss-covered surfaces, scattered bones, and eerie mushrooms, contributing to the ominous atmosphere of this fantasy realm
Immersive Interior: Step into a world of intrigue and wonder, where Megascans assetshave been meticulously reshaped to unveil a realm shrouded in mystery.
Above, stalactites ominously hang from the cavernous ceiling, their surfaces glistening with water that has trickled through the mountain over countless years, forming delicate cascades that embellish the cave's interior with ethereal beauty. Amidst this natural spectacle, a commanding monolith stands at the heart of the scene, its presence marked by the striking adornment of a golden ram's skull amidst heaps of gleaming jewels and treasures.
Flickering torches cast eerie light, their glow casting haunting shadows that dance across the walls, heightening the sense of anticipation and foreboding. Amidst this atmospheric ambiance, the distant portcullis emerges as a faint beacon of hope, hinting at the possibility of escape from the encroaching threat of a skeletal army. Immerse yourself in this captivating scene, where every corner holds a tale waiting to be uncovered

The Moment we realised we couldnt use the built in Camera for 360 cinematic VR we then had to learn how to implement Camera 360 from unreal market place "head hurting lol :("
WIP: This screenshot showcases a significant area within the ride, featuring Dockland and Temple Mount without the ocean component. As the project progressed, I focused on enhancing cohesion across all landscape elements. By utilizing and duplicating materials, I ensured that the separate models appeared unified, giving the impression that they originated from the same environment. I also managed to maintain a pleasing contrast of textures and elements for visual interest.
